The New York City Department of Transportation released an RFEI to solicit responses from the micromobility industry to implement a pilot for an electric-powered scooter-share within New York City. Lime hired Karp Strategies for strategic guidance on the proposal, with a focus on efficient mobility, public safety, accessibility, equity, transparency, and consumer protection. Karp Strategies provided technical proposal review to support Lime in devising a holistic and meticulous approach to incorporate e-scooter operations into NYC’s transportation needs and context. First, Karp Strategies participated in a collaborative strategy workshop to discuss critical pieces of the response. The firm reviewed the proposal in detail, offering key feedback and observations via both quantitative and qualitative scoring methodologies. Karp Strategies, additionally, gave Lime action-oriented feedback toward the interview process aimed toward their success.
